This security towel hook is most frequently used in correctional and psychiatric facilities where anti-suicide products are required. The security hook has a pivoting ball joint that releases when excessive force is applied. The anti-suicide hook has an exposed mounting with a flange that is fabricated from 11 gauge stainless steel. The hook has a diameter of 3 inches and projects 2.5 inches. Three 1/4"-20 1-1/2" pin in Torx screws are included for mounting the hook.
